2017-18 – Science Fiction Fantasy
2017 and 2018 were all about exploring science fiction and fantasy. These fast-paced novels/short stories filled with magic and inter-galactic battles have been keeping me occupied. A few of my favorites: Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie (the whole trilogy is brilliant and my favorite is probably the third book) The Mirror Empire by Kameron Hurley Dawn by Octavia E. Butler The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss “Vampires in the Lemon Grove” by Karen Russell
