Writing
I write fiction (novels, short stories, and podcast scripts), creative non-fiction, essays, and articles centering on queer identities, gender, pop culture, and literature. My writing has appeared in several publications, including The Independent, Buzzfeed Reader, StarTrek.com, Xtra Magazine, Bella Media Channel, Vice, Electric Literature, them.us, Upworthy, The Muse, Decoded Pride, SYFY WIRE, and Class Lives: Stories from Across the Economic Divide among others.
I also co-host Bitches on Comics, a podcast about comics and pop culture through the lens of gender and sexuality, edit for Decoded Pride, and am the co-founder of QueerSpec.com, which includes a few secret projects we’re still working on. I’m also a member of GALECA: the society of LGBTQ entertainment critics.
Below is a selection of some of my favorite pieces grouped by loose categories.
